The Howitzer is now exclusive to the Eagle Commandos Sub-Faction replacing the Prism Tank as their premier Siege Unit. Aside from this the Howitzer has gone through some revisions where it's deployed form is now a building requiring flat surface (ala Tiberian Sun Artillery) & including the new feature of it to also attack the Grand Beacon spawned by the Hail Mary Support Power letting it bombard targets from afar in both its Mobile & Deployed form. The Battleship (Which is also exclusive to the Eagle Commandos) also receives this change of being able to fire onto the Grand Beacon. This means that an Eagle Commando Player can use either a Grand Cannon, Howitzer or Battleship to attack the Beacon now.
